Our standard wooden shutters are available in sustainable Western Red Cedar. It is a stable, weather-resistant wood from North America that is renowned for its upscale appearance and resistance to decay. If you intend to paint your shutters, you might choose the lower cost Koma PVC board. But if you want a richer, high end look, we recommend the clear grade (no knots) Western Red Cedar with a semi-transparent stain and an exterior-grade clear finish. Have something else in mind?
