Our Country Cottage shutters are reminiscent of the stylized, nature-inspired motifs that made art part of everyday life at the turn of the 20th century. The vibrant colors of the handcrafted Porteous tiles, set against the green stain on the natural wood frame, makes you think of springtime in an English garden. The tile panel is available in a variety of designs created by Porteous Tiles. The accompanying photo features a butterfly design from Porteous Tiles' art nouveau collection, surrounded by a border of complementary white and light green glass tiles and set in mushroom grout. For exterior or interior applications!

Available unfinished or in virtually any solid color or stain (Shown in Spanish Cedar with a custom green stain).

Like all Shutterstile shutters, our Country Cottage shutters:

• are handcrafted to your specifications from Spanish cedar, western red cedar, PVC, oak, mahogany or other hardwood, using traditional mortise and tenon construction
• when used as decorative exterior shutters (i.e., not operable), they are available with the exclusive Shutterstile z-bar hidden mounting system
• are finished with only environmentally friendly low-VOC, water-based finishes
• have interchangeable panels (patent pending) which are easily replaced without removing the shutter from the wall — substitute panels of porcelain, glass, Talavera, stone, cork, metal, or just about any other tile to change the look of your home whenever the mood strikes you
