Shutterstile Offers New Cabin Style Shutters

April 7, 2009, Montross, VA ‒ Shutterstile LLC has added a new "Cabin" design to their line of innovative window shutters. The new design features a board and batten frame in combination with interchangeable panels of tile etched with animal footprints. The result is rugged and rustic; reminiscent of a vintage cabin in the Adirondacks. [See http://www.shutterstile.com/cabin.htm.]
"Our Cabin shutters help you escape to the wilderness by adding a touch of nature to your home. The animal footprints etched into the dark slate tile complement the bold grain patterns of the knotty aromatic cedar frame. The result is quaint, yet classic," according to Elizabeth Donley, founder and co-owner of Shutterstile. "The rugged beauty makes you slow down to appreciate the natural details."
The shutter in the accompanying photo features the left front footprint of a bear etched into dark slate tile which is set in rich chocolate black grout. [See http://www.artisanfabricating.com/z_catalog_pages.html for additional designs and for more information on Artisan Fabricating.] Like most tiles available on Shutterstile shutters, these tiles are frost-resistant.
The Cabin design is available unfinished or in virtually any solid color or stain. The company uses only environmentally friendly, low-VOC, water-based finishes.
Shutterstile shutters combine the flexibility of interchangeable panels with the unlimited colors and patterns found in decorative tiles and other unique accents. Changing the style of your home is as easy as popping out the panels and replacing them with a different color or design.
